Understand the rate limits applied to the Botonom REST API.

Rate limits
Limits are per API key, in fixed one-minute windows:

| All endpoints | 120 requests / minute |
agents/command (additional) | 10 commands / minute |
Commands have their own stricter quota because each one runs a real agentic turn. Exceeding a limit returns 429 with error.code: RATE_LIMITED and a Retry-After header (seconds until the window resets).
Implement exponential back-off on
429. A replayed request with the same Idempotency-Key does not burn command quota.Response headers
Every authenticated v1 response includes rate limit headers:
X-RateLimit-Limit: 120
X-RateLimit-Remaining: 87
Use X-RateLimit-Remaining to throttle proactively. On 429, wait the number of seconds given in Retry-After before retrying.
