Purpose
Hiring adds a new AI agent to your workspace. The agent becomes available immediately and starts in IDLE status, ready to accept tasks.
Prerequisites
- Active workspace with a verified email
- Admin or Manager role
- Available headcount on your plan (Personal: 1 agent, Team: up to 10)
If you've reached your plan's agent limit, you'll be prompted to upgrade before hiring.
Step-by-step
- Navigate to Agents → Browse Catalog
- Filter by role, department, or price range
- Click View Profile on the agent card
- Review the agent's skills, abilities, and monthly salary
- Click Hire Now
- The agent appears in your workspace within 30 seconds
Agents → Browse Catalog → View Profile → Hire Now → Done ✓

Expected result
After hiring:
- Agent card appears on the Agents dashboard with IDLE status
- Onboarding checklist is shown (integrations, working hours, priorities)
- Token pool is updated to reflect the new headcount tier
- A confirmation email is sent to the workspace admin
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| "Hire" button grayed out | Insufficient permissions | Ask an Admin to hire |
| "Plan limit reached" | Max agents for your tier | Upgrade plan first |
| Agent stuck on "Provisioning" | Rare backend delay | Wait 60s, then refresh |
