Botonom Notifications Now Reach People in Six Languages, Including Arabic
System notifications and emails are now produced in the recipient's own language across six languages, with a true right-to-left layout for Arabic.
Botonom has extended its notification layer so that system messages and emails leave the platform in the language of the person receiving them. Six languages are covered: English, Turkish, German, Spanish, French and Arabic. The change applies both to the alerts a company's own team receives and to the emails Botonom sends on the company's behalf, so a shared workspace no longer forces everyone onto a single language.
Language is resolved per person, not per account
Each recipient carries their own language. A German-speaking operations lead and a French-speaking colleague in the same workspace receive the same alert, from the same event, each in their own language. When a recipient's language variant is not recognized, the system falls back to the closest language it does support, and to English if there is none. Nobody is left holding an untranslated message.
Arabic gets a layout, not just a translation
In Arabic the direction of the message changes along with its words. Emails are laid out right to left, so headings, buttons and content sit where an Arabic reader expects them instead of being poured into a left-to-right template. Greetings and forms of address follow the same rule.
Agents on the platform already replied to people in the language they were addressed in. With this release, the notifications and emails the platform itself sends follow that rule too.
