Jobs the bot took on
Cook-i, built for Sedat Tahir A.S. and its Cook brand, answered product questions, found the nearest store and checked stock over Messenger. Everything on this page is traceable to two independent press sources.
The Challenge
Cook wanted to close the distance between the brand and the shopper. Product questions, where the nearest store was and whether an item was on the shelf could not be answered without calling a hotline or walking into a store.
In 2017 all of that depended on staffed hours. The brand wanted a channel on a messaging surface the shopper already used, where an answer did not require waiting.
The Solution
We put Cook-i live on Messenger. The bot took on five jobs:
- Introducing Cook products
- Finding the nearest store from the shopper's location and giving directions
- Checking product stock
- Answering questions about food storage products
- Collecting customer feedback, suggestions and complaints
The channel choice was deliberate: instead of asking the shopper to install something new, we went to a surface that was already open. That approach has not changed. The agent goes to the channel the customer is on.

The Results
Cook-i was announced in December 2017 and covered by two independent press sources. The spokesperson described the bot's speed of service as answering "within seconds".
There is no published measurement for this case: no response time, satisfaction score or savings figure appeared in the press release. We do not write a number we do not have.
What this page shows is this: a messaging bot we built in 2017 is the earliest form of the agents we build today. The difference is that the bot answered, and the agent finishes the job.
