Botonom today set out how its agents work across five live channels: the web panel and site widget, WhatsApp, Telegram, email and the mobile app. On all of them the company has one working agent rather than five separate bots, and that agent carries a single memory between surfaces. For businesses this removes the most familiar failure of channel-based tools, where the customer has to explain everything again after switching.
The conversation follows the customer
Someone who opens a conversation on WhatsApp and continues by email is recognized as the same person, so the agent resumes the thread instead of starting over. The same reply is then delivered in each channel's own native shape: a set of tappable buttons in a chat window, a properly threaded email, a card in the mobile app. One answer is written once and adapted to five surfaces without anyone rewriting it.
WhatsApp as a place where work finishes
On WhatsApp the agent can use reply buttons, selectable lists and swipeable product cards, which means a real order can be completed inside the conversation rather than pushing the customer to a separate page. Identity carries into permissions as well: when a manager writes from their own number, the agent answers with manager-level access; when a customer writes, it answers within customer limits.
